Scientific evidence: Cannabis and Gastritis

In 2005, the research of the the Bath and Bristol University showed, when the stomach is inflamed, CB1 and CB2 receptors in our digestive system bind to cannabinoids and trigger healing process: repair damaged cells, slow down the gut motility, reduce the pain from muscle spasms and lower chances for diarrhea. The use of cannabis increases the healing chances by 50%. Countless studies on marijuana have been done since 1975, they all proved that marijuana used in medical purposes is more, if not the moss, effective in reducing nausea and pain, stimulating appetite, improving sleep. Many cancer patients have benefited from using medical marijuana and improved quality of their lives. Smoking or vaporizing marijuana brings instant pain relief. Also cannabis tinctures or topical solutions are effective and prescribed accordingly to the severity of the pain.
